Adware Deathmatch III
So I’m locked in a death-struggle with evil Adware which is rendering my Spouse’s laptop virtually unusable. Time to do some research:

Adware Deathmatch II
Yesterday I found myself engaged in a fight to the death with Spyware and Adware infecting The Reverend’s machine. It threw me right out of my PM tasks, and pushed me into a prolonged struggle with software infecting my machines. It almost got the better of me.
My Trend Micro virus checker/firewall didn’t touch this stuff – I needed better tools.

Adware Deathmatch I
This Blog is entitled “A Day in the Life of a Project Manager”, but like many of you, what I do during the day sometimes has nothing to do with Project Management.
I’m reading e-mail yesterday morning, when The Reverend <<my Spouse>> lets out a yelp from the next room. Five browser windows just leaped up onto her Laptop screen, touting everything from Low Airfares to On-line Casinos. Over the next half hour, more junk comes up, and the machine repeatedly freezes. There is an Adware infection loose in the house.

Asia Impressions – Cell Phones, Plugs and ATMs
The business traveler to Asia has a few questions – Will my cell phone work? Can I access the internet? Can I plug my electronics in? Will my ATM card work?
The answers are: Probably not; Yes; It depends, and Usually.

Asia Impressions – The Internet
Posted from the domestic terminal in Bankok Airport: The Reverend and I are still shaking off the jet lag from our Asia trip. You can put an IT guy on a plane and send him to Asia, but you can’t stop him from checking out how technology impacts every day life there. While it is fresh in my mind, I thought I’d record some of my impressions of Asia as it relates to Business Travel and the Technology Sector. I’ll start with the Internet.
