From the street

The house is nestled in a cul de sac, along a wooded ravine above the 202 corridor just west of King of Prussia, PA.

Living Room

The traditional foyer opens into a spacious living room with picture window and fireplace. The living room leads into a large dining room with bay window and French doors opening on to the Japanese garden. With beautiful hardwood floors and freshly-painted walls these rooms are warm and inviting every season of the year.

New Kitchen

A cheerful, completely renovated kitchen completes this level. Modern white cabinets, black and stainless higher-end appliances, ceramic tile flooring, butcher-block countertops, and thoughtful lighting make this room a cook’s dream come true!

Family Room

The stairs from the kitchen lead down to a bright, large family room. Sliding doors offer access to the pool and patio in the summer, and radiant heat keeps the room warm and cozy in the winter. A short hall leads to wet bar, powder room, and two-car garage.

Right down to the pool

The kitchen and family room open onto an expansive, private, wrap-around patio and deck: 500 sq feet of secluded, three-season living space which is screened by the surrounding mature forest. To the left the orange Torii gate defines the Japanese garden, complete with stone crocodile. In the center the spacious slate dining area is surrounded by mature plantings. To the right a 12 ft banana tree screens the pool area and additional seating. Past the pool the redwood deck and vine-covered arbor offer space to relax in the sun or shade.

Late summer garden

Late summer garden view down to the pool. Large banana tree - Musa Basjoo - is on the right. I've overwintered this Banana in a borderline zone 6 using a special passive solar enclosure of my own design.
